A side story:
Just around the time the investigation with Heritage & OBSI was coming to a close, we discovered we are expecting baby #2. Do you know that despite my obvious disdain for the company they asked me if I would like to open a new account! The gall! There truly is no end to their ruthlessness. They offered me discounts and various saving options. Needless to say I declined.
Good! cause I did the same, discontinue my monthly distribution for my 11 yrs. old. From experienced, claiming funds for my older child in university was just a stressful one. Until now I haven't got any funds. They are unreliable. I can not get the right information. I can't get hold of my agent who sold me this plan for long time.

ReplyDeleteHello... While you may doubt my words, it does not change the fact that during that time Heritage was working to keep us from terminating our contract. If you have 2 or more children they can offer a variety of "saving options" and because of our situation at that time, we were negotiating through OBSI, they offered to tweak the account in dispute, if we added a second child.
ReplyDeleteBut then, perhaps you have more insight into the company than I? The savings they offered were normal business dealings dressed up as good will? Good point Anonymous!!! You are so right... now I doubt their offers were sincere... I'm glad we turned them down. ;)
